Keegan Chastey enters his second season as an Assistant Coach with The College of St. Scholastica men's soccer program after an accomplished playing career with the Saints.
Last season, Chastey worked with set pieces, goalkeepers, recruiting, match analysis, and player development. He is passionate about helping student-athletes reach their potential while contributing to the continued growth of the program.
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Chastey has spent the past seven years coaching with Gitch Soccer Club, developing players of all ages while fostering their technical, tactical, and personal growth. He also spent one season as the JV coach at Duluth East.
As a player, Chastey served as a team captain and was a two-time First Team All-MIAC selection, two-time Academic All-MIAC honoree, and First Team All-UMAC selection. He also competed for Duluth FC in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). A Duluth Denfeld graduate, Chastey finished his high school career as the school's all-time leader in goals and assists, earning United Soccer Coaches All-Great Lakes Region honors and recognition as a Minnesota Mr. Soccer finalist.
Chastey graduated from The College of St. Scholastica in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Organizational Leadership.
