Kevin Wagner enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the CSS track & field team in 2019-20.
In 2016-17, Wagner helped guide Hannah Russert to a NCAA Outdoor Championship appearance in the Heptathlon.
Wagner is coming off a decorated career as he is the only multi-time All-American in the men's track & field program's history. He tied Becky Huberty with three All-America honors for the most in either the men's/women's program's history. He also joins Huberty as the only Saints to capture indoor and outdoor All-America honors in the same academic year (2016).
He finished a program-best third at the 2016 outdoor championships in the decathlon after a runner-up finish at the 2016 indoor championships in the heptathlon. He also had a fourth place finish in the 2015 decathlon.
He is the only Saint to ever compete at four straight NCAA Championships in the same event and his total of six NCAA Championship appearances is a program record.
