The College of St. Scholastica

Sarah Melhorn enters her second season on the St. Scholastica women’s soccer coaching staff in 2020.
 
Melhorn came over from Providence Academy in Plymouth, Minnesota prior to the 2019 season, where she was the Assistant Athletic Director and Middle School Athletic Director. Prior to that, she was an assistant soccer coach at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School for two years after spending a year as the assistant women’s soccer coach at Youngstown State University.
 
She spent two seasons as the director of soccer operations at Valparaiso from 2011-13. Melhorn planned and coordinated all game-day activities, including promotions for the women’s soccer program. Her administrative duties included travel, equipment, fundraising and recruiting.
 
Melhorn played collegiately at NCAA Division I Valparaiso University and was named a Team Captain as a senior. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Physical Education in 2011. She also received her Master’s in Sports Administration from Valparaiso in 2013.
