Elsmore enters her third season on the St. Scholastica women’s hockey coaching staff for the 2018-19 season.

Elsmore was a volunteer assistant on the Saints staff for the program's first two seasons from 2010-12 coaching the goaltenders. She then returned prior to the 2016-17 season. She coached Rachel Borchardt those first two seasons to the program's best career saves percentage (.927). In 2016-17, she coached Lexi Thomeczek to the best save percentage in a single-season.

A native of Switzerland, Elsmore played college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth from 2001-03, 2004-05 where she won two national championships as the starting goaltender for the Bulldogs. At UMD, Elsmore was 44-5-4 with 1,019 saves and a 1.58 goals-against-average. The 1.58 GAA is the second-best in Bulldog history for goalies that played in at least 25 games.

Elsmore was also part of the Swiss National Team since 1992 playing in many European and World Championships, being the first Swiss voted to the All-Star Team at the World Championships in Kitchener, Ontario in 1997. She also played in the 2006 Winter Olympics for Switzerland.
