Iya Gavrilova

Iya Gavrilova is another Minnesota-Duluth alum that will assist Jackie MacMillan in the team’s inaugural season.

Iya, a native of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, played one season for the Bulldogs (2007-08) scoring 19 goals and adding 22 assists in 26 games. Gavrilova has also played for the Russian National Team in both the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Gavrilova is still attending classes at UMD and has recently played for the Minnesota Whitecaps.
