Jesse Robinson enters his 12th year as the Director of Athletics Communications at the College of St. Scholastica in 2019-20 and his first as Assistant Athletic Director for Game Management.

In his first 11 years at St. Scholastica, Robinson has redesigned the school’s athletics web site on multiple occasions and has integrated live streaming video for 12 of CSS’ 22 sports. He has covered 47 NCAA Tournament teams and 58 NCAA Qualifiers. He has been in charge of hosting 88 conference tournament/playoffs games/meets/matches in addition to 18, double-elimination baseball/softball UMAC Tournaments. In 2018, he served as Director of Media Relations for the NCAA Division III Midwest Baseball Regional at Wade Stadium, St. Scholastica’s first-ever time hosting a NCAA postseason event.

Robinson was also the official stat keeper of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women’s Hockey Final Four in Superior, Wisconsin and the 2015 NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Final Four in Minneapolis.

Robinson, a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), has had 23 CSS Athletes earn CoSIDA Academic All-American awards, including 15 First Team selections.

Robinson is also a founding member and chairs of the CSS Athletics Hall of Fame and the Saints Sports Awards Committees. The Saints Sports Awards were established in 2013 in a way to honor St. Scholastica student-athletes’ achievements throughout the year.Â

Prior to coming to CSS in the summer of 2008, Robinson was the interim SID at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from October of 2007 through June of 2008. While at UW-Stevens Point, he covered five NCAA Tournament teams and hosted a NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Regional.

During the summers of 2006 and 2007, Robinson was the Media Relations intern for the Eau Claire Express of Northwoods League. In addition to his duties as the official scorekeeper and sending out press releases, Robinson also helped develop to the team’s new web site.

Robinson, a native of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in May of 2007. While at UW-Eau Claire, he worked under CoSIDA Hall of Famer Tim Petermann as a student assistant for two years.Â
