The College of St. Scholastica

Josh Tesch enters his 11th season as assistant ski coach in 2020-21. During the 2014 season, when then head coach Chad Salmela was at the Sochi Olympics, Tesch filled in and led the women’s team to runner-up finishes at the CCSA Championships and the NCAA Central Region Championships.
 
Tesch walked on as a skier at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and was the first of two Phoenix skiers in program history to qualify four consecutive seasons for the NCAA Skiing Championships. His highest finish at the NCAA Championships was 13th during the 2000 season. Tesch assisted current U.S. National Ski Team Development coach, Bryan Fish, at UWGB after graduating.

Tesch is a full-time faculty member at Lake Superior College.
