Jason Kask

Jason Kask begins his second year as Saints Head Nordic Skiing Coach for the 2025-26 season.

Kask brings extensive experience in athlete development and coaching. His impressive background includes roles as a High Performance Coaching Assistant with USA Triathlon, Physiologist and Service Technician for US Paralympics Nordic Skiing, and Coach and Trip Leader for USA Triathlon Paratriathlon. Additionally, he has served as the Director of Athlete Development at the Sisu Foundation and Program Director at the Duluth Cross Country Ski Club. As the President and Head Coach of Superior Performance Endurance Coaching, Jason has honed his skills in guiding athletes to success.

As a coach, Jason's goal is to create a high-performing and inclusive team that consistently competes at the regional and national levels. He is passionate about fostering a love for skiing and helping each athlete reach their full potential.

Outside of coaching, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their children, Tuuli and Otto. He is an outdoor enthusiast who loves racing sailboats, camping, mountain biking, trail running, and exploring Minnesota’s lakes.

Jason states, “Working with the dedicated and motivated athletes at The College of St. Scholastica is a rewarding experience. It’s great to see the reach of the program expand to the entire nation and internationally as an alumni of Saints Skiing.Working with each athlete to become the best skier they can be drives me to continue to improve my coaching and reach for new areas of improvement for the program. The resources that the College of St. Scholastica provides and the collaborations we have developed with departments such as the Exercise Physiology program continue to push our athletes to excel in sport and academics. “
