Katelyn Meger comes on as an assistant coach in 2010 after a stellar two-year career for the Saints. Meger became the first CSS athlete to compete in a NCAA Championship final event on more than one occasion as she placed 43rd in 2008 and 2009 at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
Meger also became the first NCAA Division III women’s cross country runner to receive the prestigious NCAA Elite 88 award, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
She won the UMAC Cross Country Championship in 2008 and is a two-time all-conference recipient in outdoor track & field.
Meger is a two-time USTFCCCA Cross Country Division Academic All-American.
