Fawcett enters his third season as the defensive line coach for the Saints in 2010. Fawcett brings a wealth of football coaching experience to the St. Scholastica staff having served as Head Football Coach with both the Duluth-Superior Shoreman (2004-05) and the Superior Stampede (2006-07) of the Mid-America Football League. Fawcett was also a part-owner and Director of Operations for the Stampede through 2008, helping lead the Stampede to the NEFL Championship.
Fawcett coaches a youth football camp every summer, and currently works for Minnesota Vikings linebacker Ben Leber. Fawcett has worked for Mike Tice, John Tice, and Matt Birk in the past.
Fawcett has coached four different all-conference players in the first two seasons with the Saints.
The former football captain at Duluth Central (1987) served as an assistant coach with the Trojans (2000-2003) as well as at Duluth East (2004-2006).
Fawcett was his team’s MVP and an All-Conference selection as a defensive lineman at Huron University (1992).
