Matthew Johnson enters his first season on the CSS Football staff in 2018. Johnson holds the distinction as the player who scored the first-ever touchdown in program history.

Johnson was part of the inaugural recruiting class for the Saints. He played in 37 games in his four-year career, rushing for 437 yards and five touchdown, while also recording 57 receptions for 623 yards and two touchdowns.

Johnson is currently a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley.

Johnson will coach the Running Backs and Slot Receivers this season.
