Matt Krivinchuk

Matt Krivinchuk enters his ninth season on the football staff in 2018 and his third year as a full-time assistant.

Krivinchuk will be the team’s Defensive Coordinator this season. He had coached the defensive line for the Saints since the 2010 season. He coached nine First Team All-UMAC selections during that time, including 2012 UMAC Defensive Player of the Year Zack Dubanoski. The main unit he will oversee this season is the linebackers.

Krivinchuk is familiar face to the football scene in the Twin Ports area. He was the offensive coordinator at Superior High School from 2000-2009. He was the head coach of the Superior Stampede/Lake Superior Rage of the Northern Elite Football League (NEFL) from 2006-2014. He guided the Stampede to the NEFL Elite Bowl I Championship in 2008.

Krivinchuk also spent the 2009 season as the defensive coordinator at Vermilion Community College.
