Luke Hietala enters his second season on the Saints coaching staff. During the 2024 season, wide receiver Ricky Weber earned MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention under his tutelage.

Before joining St. Scholastica, Hietala graduated from the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities with a Bachelors degree in sports management with a minor in coaching.
Hietala, originally from Duluth, now once again resides in the city he calls home.
