Dale Widolff joins Kurt Ramler’s St. Scholastica football staff in 2014. Widolff was the head coach of Occidental College (Calif.) for 30 seasons from 1982-2011.

During his time with the Tigers made the NCAA Division III playoffs seven times, including four times from 2004-2011. His 2005, 2006 and 2008 Occidental teams went undefeated during the regular season. Widolff’s 178 wins are 26th all-time in NCAA Division III history.

Widolff attended the University of Indianapolis where he played center and outside linebacker. He graduated in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies - Secondary Education. He earned his Master’s Degree in Secondary Physical Education from Indiana State University in 1981.

Widolff spent two years as a defensive coordinator for the Tigers before moving to head coach. Prior to that, he was part of coaching staffs at Indiana State, Kansas State University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Widolff spent the 2012 season as a special team’s coordinator and defensive assistant at Lewis and Clark College (Ore.) and the 2013 season as a defensive assistant at California Lutheran University.
