Q: What does MIAC stand for?
A: Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
 
Q: When will CSS officially become a member of the MIAC?
A:  Beginning with the 2021-22 academic year.
 
Q: Which CSS sports will be competing in the MIAC?
A: All sports including Hockey (currently in the NCHA) will be joining the MIAC with the exception of Nordic Skiing, which will remain in the CCSA as neither the MIAC nor UMAC sponsor that sport.
    
Q: When will CSS officially exit the UMAC and NCHA?
A: At the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year.
 
Q. Will St. Scholastica be eligible to compete in the UMAC/NCHA Postseason in 2020-21?
A: Yes, St. Scholastica will still be a full UMAC member and NCHA member for the 2020-21 academic year and thus eligible for the postseason.
 
Q: Who will be the other members of the MIAC in 2021-22 and where are they located?

Q:  What will St. Scholastica’s move to the MIAC look like for parents of student-athletes?
A:  Since all conference competitions will now be in the state of Minnesota, with more athletic events closer to the Twin Cities metro area, local families and fans will have more opportunity to watch conference contests.  
 
Q:  Who can best answer questions regarding individual sports schedules?
A:  The Head Coach of each respective sport.
