DULUTH, Minn. – Due to winter weather conditions on Wednesday, February 18, the College of St. Scholastica Department of Athletics has announced schedule changes for both men's and women's basketball.
The Saints' women's basketball home game against Gustavus Adolphus College, originally scheduled for Wednesday evening in Reif Gymnasium, has been postponed to Thursday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m.
The men's basketball team's road contest at Gustavus Adolphus, also scheduled for Wednesday, will likewise be moved to Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in Saint Peter, Minnesota.
Fans who were planning to attend Wednesday's women's game are encouraged to adjust their plans accordingly. Additional updates will be shared on csssaints.com and through the Saints' official social media channels if necessary.
The women's basketball team enters the final week of the regular season in the midst of a postseason push. After clinching the program's first-ever berth in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoffs since joining the league in 2021-22, the Saints now turn their focus toward seeding.
With two games remaining on the regular-season schedule — both against teams currently ahead of them in the MIAC standings and NCAA NPI rankings — Thursday night's matchup in Duluth carries significant implications for positioning heading into postseason play.
