ORLANDO, Fla. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis would conclude their fifth and final spring break match this morning in Orlando on the USTA National Campus. The Saints would face the Eagles of Wisconsoin La-Crosse.
Doubles
The opponents would claim all three doubles points.
The same results would be repeated from yesterday's matches oddly enough with the No.1 team of Mishell Benitez (Ambato, Ecuador/Colegio Tecnico Particular a Distancia José Martí) and Anna Ritchie (Becker, Minn./Becker HS) and the No. 2 team of Chloe Hasbargen (Bemidji, Minn.) and Taylor Vyskocil (Ashland, Wis.) both being defeated 8-6 in their matches.
Singles
Maier would pick up her third consecutive singles win in the No. 1 spot. The junior would have the only singles point for the Saints, winning 6-1, 6-1.
Ritchie would grab the first set 6-1, then lose the second set 6-0. Ritchie would battle with her opponent in the final set, but fall in the superbreaker 11-9.

The Saints (3-9, 1-4 MIAC) will head back to the cold weather and the snow this afternoon. They will be on a short break until they face former UMAC opponents of Crown College next week in Virginia, Minn.
