csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team placed second on Friday at the Twin Cities Twilight, placing three runners in the top seven, including two of the top three finishers.

Top Performances
For the first time since early October of the 2019 season, junior
Lars Dewall (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) led the Saints, placing runner-up with a time of 14:54. Dewall also finished second in the 2019 Twin Cities Twilight.
Sophomore
Calvin Boone (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Highland Park HS), who finished second in this race last year, was third this evening with a time of 15:13.
Senior
Nick Matelich (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman HS (Montana State)) crossed the finish line seventh with a time of 15:57.
In his first collegiate race,
Max Rogers (Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) was 16
th in a time of 16:33. The final Saint to score was sophomore
Derek Douglas (Escanaba, Mich./Escanaba HS) in a time of 16:47, edging teammate
John Schwinghamer (Mora, Minn./Mora HS (South Dakota State)) for 22
nd place.
Up Next
The Saints will be split up next Friday as a portion of the team will travel to Saint Paul to compete in the Hamline Invitational, while the other portion of the team will remain in Duluth and compete in the Bulldog Open at Lester Park Golf Course on Friday.
