How it Happened

In the second quarter, the Saints used a 6-0 run to take a 29-22 lead. The LumberJills (4-10, 1-7 UMAC) would drain a 3-pointer as the half expired to make it a four-point game going into the locker room.

Northland regained the lead at 34-33 three minutes into the third quarter. The Saints responded with seven consecutive points to lead by six. CSS used another 6-0 run later in the period and led 49-42 after three periods. Walther scored 10 of her 24 points in the third.

St. Scholastica then shot 60 percent from the field in the fourth, while the LumberJills were held to 21 percent. The Saints went on an 11-0 in the period to put the game away. The Saints prevailed 69-54.
