Women’s Basketball Returns Home Wednesday

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's basketball team will be at the Reif Gymnasium for the first time in two weeks on Wednesday when it welcomes Highway 2 rival Northland College for an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) matchup.

-Senior Michala Walther (Roseville, Minn./Concordia Academy) is nearing the 1,000-point total for a career as she is 51 points shy.
-Senior Mariah Pearson (Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS) has scored more points this season (110) than her previous three seasons combined (106).
-Alison Huber (Ashland, Wis./Ashland HS (Hibbing CC)) is third in the conference, averaging 2.0 made 3-point field goals per game in conference play.

Overall Record: 4-9, 1-6 UMAC
-The LumberJills are coming off a 36-point loss at home against the University of Minnesota Morris on Saturday.
-The lone conference win was a four-point victory over Crown in early January.
-Northland has just one win in the last eight games.
-Katherine Taylor leads the team in scoring at 11.2 points per game.
-Emily Wagner grabs a team-best 5.4 rebounds per game.
-The LumberJills have allowed conference opponents to shoot a league-best 46 percent from the floor.
