BLAINE, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team ran third in the season-opening Twin Cities Twilight Friday evening.

Top Team Scores: 1. Bethel-25, 2. Macalester-62, 3. CSS-79, 4. St. Olaf-91, 5. Northwestern-142
Individual Winner: Patrick Larson (Unattached)-20:56
 
Top Performances
Sophomore Isaac Boedigheimer (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) led the Saints with an eighth-place finish in a time of 21:42. Fellow sophomore Ryan Steger (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) finished 16th overall in a time of 22:16. Freshman Nick Meyer (Wabasha, Minn./Wabasha-Kellogg HS) was 18th in a time of 22:25.
 
Another freshman Donny Pooler (Solon Springs, Wis./Northwestern HS) was the fourth Saint across the finish line in 21st with a time of 22:30. Rounding out the scoring for the Saints was sophomore Tamer Mische-Richter (Bloomington, Minn./John F. Kennedy HS) in a time of 22:52, which was good enough for 29th overall.
 
Up Next
The Saints will be in the Twin Ports next week as they will compete at the Nemadji College Invite at the Nemadji Golf Course in Superior.
