What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints are receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll
-The Saints got their second straight sweep against an NCHA rival, by taking care of Northland College last weekend.
-Seven different Saints picked up nine goals in the weekend sweep over Northland,
Taylor Thompson (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) and
Greta Nundahl (New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) both had multi-goal weekends.
-
Rachel Anderson (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) had a playmaker (three assists in a game) in both games this past weekend, including adding a goal in Saturday's contest, gave her seven points for the weekend.
-Anderson in 16
th in NCAA Division III averaging 1.17 assists per game.
-The Saints overcame a first period deficit where they trailed 2-0 on Saturday, the first time this season they've trailed by two goals.
-In Saturday's comeback victory, the Saints scored three power-play goals, and added a short-handed goal to score six unanswered on the Jills.

Lexi Thomeczek's (St. Louis, Mo./St. Joseph Academy (St. Louis AAA Blues)) shutout on Friday gives her two already on the season, and improves her program record for career shutouts to eight.
-Thomeczek hasn't allowed a goal since the season opening series against Augsburg University. She's allowed three goals in four games, good for a 0.73 GAA and a .978 save percentage.
-Thomeczek's goals-against-average ranks seventh in NCAA Division III, and second in NCHA. Of all the goalies who rank in the NCAA top-10 in GAA Thomeczek has the second-most minutes played.
-Thomeczek also ranks fourth in the nation with a .978 save percentage, second in the NCHA. Of all the goalies who rank in the NCAA top-10 for save percentage Thomeczek has faced the most shots.
-Dating back to the beginning of the 2017-2018 season the Saints haven't lost at home going 12-0-3 in the last 15 home games.
-The highest-ranked squad the Saints have beaten in program history is the No. 7 spot twice. CSS has never beaten a team ranked in the top-6 nationally.
What You Need to Know about Adrian:
Record: 5-1-0, 4-0-0 NCHA
-Adrian comes into the weekend as the country's number six team in the USCHO.com poll.
-The Bulldogs average 3.00 goals and 39.3 shots per contest.
-The only loss for the Bulldogs this season was a 4-3 setback to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Adrian had previously beaten them the night before 4-3 in overtime.
-Adrian has swept the last two weekends against NCHA teams and had shutouts in all four of those games.
-The four consecutive shutouts are a program record.
-The last season Adrian didn't finish atop the NCHA standings was in the 2013-14 season when they finished third behind Lake Forest College and St. Scholastica.
-Kortney Diaz leads the Bulldogs with five points (4G, 1A) on the season. Brianna Buchanan, Shelly Czarnowczan, Brooke Schembri have four points.
-Kate Turner has started four of the six games played by the Bulldogs this season. She is 3-1-0 on the year with a 1.73 GAA to go along with a .907 save percentage.

Series History: In the first nine meetings the Saints went 3-5-1. Since that the Saints have gone 13 games without a victory against the Bulldogs, 0-11-2 in that stretch. The Bulldogs have outscored the Saints 27-4 in the last five meetings. Two of St. Scholastica's three wins over Adrian have come at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Looking Ahead: The Saints will head to St. Peter for a quick one game trip on Tuesday for its first-ever meeting with Gustavus Adolphus College. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
