WAVERLY, Iowa (csssaints.com) – Sophomore Isaac Boedigheimer (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) led the St. Scholastica men's cross country team on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Central Region Championships finishing 29th overall and earning All-Region accolades for the second straight year.

Top Performances
Boedigheimer, who finished 22nd at this event last year and just missed qualifying for Nationals, would finish 29th on Saturday with a personal-best time of 25:37. Boedigheimer would be the only Saint to finish in the top 100.
 
Sophomore Ryan Steger (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) came across next for the Saints in a personal-best time of 27:05 and 105th overall. Freshman Nick Matelich (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman HS (Montana State)) was 116th overall with a personal-best time of 27:15.
 
Fellow freshman Donny Pooler (Solon Springs, Wis./Northwestern HS) was the fourth Saint across the finish line in a personal-best time of 27:29, good enough for 130th overall. The final Saint to score was another freshman Bjorn Larson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Colorado State)) in 141st place with a personal-best time of 27:48.
 
Freshman Max Botz (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Apollo HS) was 150th overall with a time of 28:04 and the final CSS runners competing was freshman Nick Meyer (Wabasha, Minn./Wabasha-Kellogg HS) in 198th overall with a time of 31:41.
 
End of Season
The season ends for the youthful squad. The Saints don't have any seniors and expect Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) back for 2019.
