Top Performances
Coming into the race, it was projected to be a three-team battle between the Saints, reigning champ and favorite University of Wisconsin-Superior and Martin Luther College, who was second last year.

Boedigheimer, who was beaten by UWS' Jordan Koski in four races this season, would get the better of Koski on Saturday beating he and the rest of the field by 17 seconds to capture the individual championship matching a season-best time of 26:11.

Koski would actually finish third overall as Ryan Anderson from the University of Minnesota Morris was second. However, the Yellowjackets showed their team depth by placing five runners in the top 10 to take the team title for the third straight year.

Sophomore Ryan Steger (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) was the next Saint to cross the line in sixth place overall with a personal-best time of 27:11. Both Boedigheimer and Steger will receive First Team All-UMAC honors for their performances.

Freshman Max Botz (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Apollo HS) came across in 14th place overall with a season-best time of 27:41. Botz will receive Second Team All-UMAC laurels. Just missing all-conference honors was freshman Nick Meyer (Wabasha, Minn./Wabasha-Kellogg HS) in 17th overall with a time of 27:51.

The final Saint to score was freshman Nick Matelich (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman HS (Montana State)) in 22nd with a time of 28:08. He edged out freshman teammate Bjorn Larson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Colorado State)) for that final scoring spot by one second. Sophomore Tamer Mische-Richter (Bloomington, Minn./John F. Kennedy HS) was 25th overall to complete the top seven runners for the Saints.
