Last Action: The Saints fell in their season opener at No. 10 Saint John's University … It marked the third straight season-opening loss for the Saints … St. Scholastica was held to a program-low 52 yards of total offense, negative-seven yards rushing and tied for the fewest passing yards in a game … The Saints did set a program record for the most kick return yards in a contest (200) … Saturday's loss was also only the second time in program history the Saints were shutout and the first time it allowed an interception return and fumble return for a touchdown in the same game.
Against the UMAC: The Saints are 57-11 in conference games all-time, including 50-3 since 2011 … In conference road games, St. Scholastica is 25-1 since 2011 with that one loss coming at the University of Minnesota Morris last season … The Saints have not lost a conference opener since falling to Martin Luther College in 2010.
Olson Nearing 50: Junior wide out
Aaron Olson (Esko, Minn./Esko HS) is three receptions shy of 50 for his career … Olson had 44 of those 50 receptions last season … He had a pair of catches last week at Saint John's.
Senger Hits 100: Junior linebacker
Jonathan Senger (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) recorded his 100
th career tackle against the Johnnies last week … Senger led the team with 80 tackles a season ago.

The Panthers opened their season last Thursday at Millikin University (Ill.) and were held out of the end zone in a 76-3 loss … Greenville had 160 yards of total offense, while allowing 601 yards, including 363 through the air … The Panthers have been projected to finish sixth in the conference this season after going 1-8 in the league last year … Greenville replaces plenty of players from last season including 2016 UMAC Defensive Player of the Year, safety Nicholas Morrow, who is currently on the Oakland Raiders 53-man roster … George Harris returns at quarterback, but did not play in the season opener … Instead, freshman Chris Knight was 10-of-20 for 57 yards … Senior wide receiver Derek Greifzu had six receptions in week one, while senior running back Jonny Pruiett ran for 34 yards … Defensively, not a single senior recorded a tackle last week … Freshman Luke Lambird recorded a team-high seven tackles.
