Northern Collegiate Hockey Association: Standings | Stats
Last Action: The Saints were swept by third-ranked Adrian College (Mich.) last weekend at Mars Lakeview … CSS was held to only one goal for the weekend.
Seniors: On Saturday, the Saints will recognize their four seniors … Forward
Sierra Hanowski (Warroad, Minn./Warroad HS) has played in 97 career games, recording 31 goals and 42 assists for 73 points … She is only the second player in program history to have at least 30 goals and 40 assists in a career … Fellow forward
Anja Kadijevic (Zagreb, Croatia/General HS (Lindenwood)) has played 69 career games in three seasons with the Saints … She has nine goals in those three seasons … Defenseman

Lindsey Hartfiel (Big Lake, Minn./Buffalo HS) is the winningest goaltender in program history with 27 victories … She holds program records for saves (2071) and shutouts (6).
Winning Close Games: The Saints are 5-2 in one-goal games this season and 7-2 in games deciding by two goals or less … CSS is 10-1-2 when ahead or tied at the second intermission.
Where They Stand: With four conference games remaining, the Saints remain in third place with a four-point lead over Concordia Wisconsin and Marian University (Wis.) … However, this weekend's games are CUW's final NCHA games of the season, so the best they can do is tie the Saints with a sweep … CSS closes out NCHA play against winless Finlandia University (Mich.) next weekend … Adrian and Lake Forest College (Ill.) have already clinched the top two seeds and will host NCHA Slaats Cup semifinal series.
Upcoming Opponents
Concordia Wisconsin Falcons
Record: 9-11-2, 5-9-2 NCHA
The Falcons are coming off a series split with Marian last weekend … That split was important because that means Marian owns the tiebreaker over CUW … Both teams come in with 12 points, but Marian has four league games left, while this will be Concordia's final NCHA games of the season … Senior Veronika Metanova leads the team with 11 goals, 17 points and 28 points on the year … Fellow senior Brandi Muller nine goals and 10 assists … Sophomore Christina Pattengale has seen a majority of the time in goal, but freshman Breanna Thomson has a better goals-against-average (1.99) and save percentage (.925) … CUW is 1-5-1 in conference road games.
Series Record: CSS leads 8-3-6
(Last Meeting: Tie 2-2 – 11/20/2016)
Series History: The Saints and Falcons have tied the last two meetings, both of which have taken place in Mequon, Wisconsin … CSS defeated CUW 3-1 last season in Duluth … The last six games in the series have been split right down the middle at 2-2-2.
Looking Ahead: The Saints travel to face the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Tuesday, February 14 for their final non-conference game of the year.
