Top Performances
Freshman Isaac Boedigheimer (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) once again paced the Saints with a season-best time of 25:41 to place 22nd overall. That time is the third-fastest 8k time in program history. Not too far behind him was junior Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS), who was 31st with a personal-best time of 25:54. Foss' time was 53 seconds faster than his time on this course last year. By finishing in the top 35, both runners earned all-region accolades.

Cameron Pearson (Park Falls, Wis./Chequamegon HS) was the next Saint to cross the finish line in 110th with a season-best time of 27:12. Ryan Steger (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) posted a season-best time of 27:39 to be the fourth CSS finisher in 127th. It was a battle for the fifth and final scoring spot for the Saints as Izaak Juenemann (Eyota, Minn./Dover-Eyota HS) edged McEwan Rodefeld (Blaine, Minn./Irondale HS) by two seconds with a time of 27:55 to finish 137th overall. Both Juenemann and Rodefeld had season-best times.

Sawyer Morgan (Ogilvie, Minn./Mora HS) was the final Saint competing and he placed 162nd with a personal-best time of 28:57.

Best UMAC Team
Despite finishing third at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championships a couple of weeks ago, the Saints were by far the dominate conference team in the field today finishing 75 points ahead of conference champion University of Wisconsin-Superior and 102 points ahead of UMAC runner-up Martin Luther College. Ryan Gurgel of Martin Luther was the only other UMAC runner to earn all-region accolades.

Will Boedigheimer Qualify
To qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual, you must finish in the top seven at the region championship from a non-qualifying team. With that said, after the two automatic qualifying teams in Loras and Carleton advance, Boedigheimer is the 14th fastest runner.

However, teams are also eligible for 16 at-large berths. If Wartburg gets an at-large berth then he is the 11th fastest runner. If Nebraska Wesleyan gets an at-large berth then he is the eighth fastest runner. If four teams are selected from the region, Boedigheimer would fall one second short of qualifying.
