What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints remained unbeaten in season openers with a 3-2 victory at Augsburg University last Friday.

Emily Stegora (Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS (Minnesota State-Mankato)) recorded two goals against the Auggies for the second straight year.

Alexia Klaas (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) recorded the game-winner.

What You Need to Know about Marian:
-The Sabres lost both of their games last weekend, falling at Saint Mary's University 5-3 and then dropping a 6-1 decision to Augsburg.
-Marian was 7-11-0 in NCHA play a season ago and qualified as the four seed for the Slaats Cup playoffs.
-Sophomore Morgan Bolin scored two of the team's four goals last weekend.
-Junior goaltender Lindsey Strainis suffered both losses over the weekend.
-Sophomore Ally Fox led the team with 12 goals and 22 points and was named to the NCHA All-Freshmen Team last season.
-The Sabres were 9-3-0 last season when they scored the first goal, but only 1-13-1 when the opponent scored first.
