DULUTH, Minn. (

The Action
The Saints were almost flawless in the opening set, recording 14 kills and zero attack errors. CSS recorded the first five points and never got any closer as it took the opening set 25-13.
The Saints did not trail in the second set, as well, as they opened up a 9-2 lead. Kills by
Brooke Schermann (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Totino-Grace HS) and
Madissen Burns (Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer HS) ended the set in favor of the Saints 25-15.
The Storm (3-24, 2-14) took their only lead of the match by registering the first point of the third set. That lead was short-lived as St. Scholastica recorded the next eight points. Crown only got as close as five the rest of the way as CSS closed out the match in three 25-13.
