PREVIEW: Women's Hockey Looks to Ride Momentum at Marian

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's hockey team will ride a season-high three-game unbeaten streak into Marian University (Wis.) this weekend for a two game Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) series.

Hanowski Hits Milestone: Senior forward Sierra Hanowski (Warroad, Minn./Warroad HS) became only the second player in program history to have at least 30 goals and 40 assists in a career on Saturday when she had a goal and an assist in the victory … She is the fourth Saint to hit 70 career points and two points shy of moving into third place on the all-time scoring list.
 
Where They Stand: With their sweep last weekend, the Saints moved into third place, two points ahead of this weekend's opponent Marian … CSS can put a stranglehold on the No. 3 spot with a sweep this weekend … The top four teams make the NCHA Slaats Cup playoffs … Including this weekend, there are four weekends of league games remaining.
