WINNECONNE, Wis. (csssaints.com) - Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS) was the St. Scholastica men's cross country team's lead finisher on Saturday in the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational, where the team finished in 27th place with a score of 778.

Top Finishers
Gallagher finished in 44th place and ran the race in 26:05, the third best 8k time in program history, a record he broke at the Pre-Region Meet hosted by Carleton College on October 1. Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) was behind him as the 161st runner to cross the finish line with a season-best time of 27:40. Cameron Pearson (Park Falls, Wis./Chequamegon HS) was the third athlete scored in the Saints roster, finishing in 165th, in 27:44.
Josh Trosen (Hackensack, Minn./Nevis HS) ended the race in 199th place after a season-best time of 28:32. Jimmy Lovrien (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS) followed close behind and finished in 209th with a personal-best time of 28:53, which is just shy of a three minute improvement off of last year's race at the same course.
