DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team beat North Central University 7-1 on Saturday afternoon at a foggy Saints Field.
 
The Saints had three goals from Jill Rosby (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS ), Leah Hamm (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) and Peyton Bacso (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS (Minnesota-Duluth) ) to start of the scoring in the first 30 minutes. For Rosby and Bacso, it was their first collegiate goals. Dakotah Sparrman was the lone answer for the Rams 33rd minute.

Saints continued scoring with another goal from Hamm only 47 seconds after the Sparrman goal and back-to-back goals from Taylor Rozmark (Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS ) to end the first half and start the second half. To finish off scoring Alexi Bopray (River Falls, Wis./River Falls HS) found the net for the first time this season to give the Saints a 7-1 edge over North Central.
 
The Saints out-shot the Rams 32-3. Heather Campbell had 11 saves and gave up all seven goals before the Rams substituted Monica Herrara who finished off the game with three saves. On the other end, Annie Michels (Plymouth, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret’s ) and Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) split the game in the goal. Reeves had the only two saves in the game for the Saints to earn the win.
 
The Saints better their record to 4-4-2 with a 3-1-0 in conference. The Rams are now 3-6-0 and 1-4-0 in the UMAC.

St. Scholastica leaves Saints Field and the UMAC to play University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Tuesday. Action begins at 7 p.m. on Ramer Field at the Smith Stadium.
