NORTHFIELD, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team tied its game on Saturday while visiting St. Olaf College by a score of 1-1.
St. Scholastica was able to get on the board first about 20 minutes into the game with a shot out of the middle from
Leah Hamm (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS). This was Hamm's third goal on the season. Madison Van Wylen answered for the Oles with her first goal of the season to tie the game 13 minutes into the second half.
Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) was in the net for St. Scholastica and had nine saves.. Opposite of Reeves was St. Olaf's Ruth Hesse who only had three saves.
CSS' record changes to 1-2-1 while St. Olaf walks away at 0-2-2.
