The game began with CSS and NCU trading buckets for the first four minutes of the game, and with 15:51 left in the half the score was 9-7 in favor of CSS.

The large lead would not last long, however, as the Rams answered the 19-4 CSS run by outscoring the Saints over the last 8:30 25-12 to go into halftime down by just four points at 40-36.

The Saints would build up their lead as high as 23 points as they coasted out the rest of the second half en route to a convincing 75-59 UMAC win over North Central.

Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow (Braham, Minn./Braham HS (Minn. Duluth)) led the Saints in scoring with 16 points on the night while Holly VanKempen (Elbow Lake, Minn./West Central HS) and Brennan added 14 of their own. The final Saints to score in double figures was Elena Huber (Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) who totaled 11 points on the night.
