MORRIS, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Leah Hamm (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) and Becca Rancour (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS ) scored a goal in each half to give the St. Scholastica women's soccer team a 4-0 road victory over conference rival University of Minnesota Morris on Saturday afternoon.

First Half
The Saints led the way in the first half with eight shots, as the Cougars were unable to get a shot off in the half. Yet the Morris defense held strong initially. It was not until the 31st minute when Leah Hamm (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) finished a corner from Rachel Dixon (Superior, Wis./Superior HS ) that the first change on the scoreboard was made, as CSS took a 1-0 advantage. Just a few minutes after, Becca Rancour (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS ) scored her first goal of the game courtesy of a Hannah Zeis (Ashland, Wis./Ashland HS ) assist to push the Saint advantage to 2-0 in the 39th minute. St. Scholastica would take that advantage into the locker room after 45 minutes of play.

Second Half
The second half script would be much like the first, as the Saints would put pressure on the Cougars, but were unable to score for most of the half. However, it would be Hamm breaking the Morris defense again, as Hamm found the back of the net in the 82nd minute for the 3-0 lead. Not to be outdone, Rancour would follow Hamm's second goal of the afternoon with a score of her own in the 83rd minute. That would be the final goal of the game for the Saints, as CSS would cruise to the 4-0 lead.

Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) did not have to make a save to earn her third shutout of the season and her 32nd of her career.

Up Next
