COLFAX, Wis. -- The St. Scholastica men's cross country team was 12th out of 19 teams on Friday at the Blugold Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The ActionChris Lawson (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) crossed the finish line first for CSS with a time of 26:23.7, taking the 55th spot overall. This is the first time Lawson has led he team this season.
Coming in not too far from Lawson was
Luke McKenzie (Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS), finishing with a time of 26:39.1 for 76th overall. Next for CSS was
Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS) marking a time of 27:10.2 and placing 112th.
Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) came in 147th overall with a time of 27:35.5 and
Tim Dunstan (Dollar Bay, Mich./Dollar Bay HS) rounded out the score finishing at 27:47.6 good enough for 158th.
The host, Blugolds, won with 45 points. St. Olaf College was second with 60 points and UW-La Crosse was third with 86 points.
Up NextThe Saints will take part in the Pre-Nationals Meet in Winneconne, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 17. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh will host the event.
