ST. PAUL, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team finished 13
th overall out of 17 teams Saturday morning at the Roy Griak Invitational.
The Saints were led by
Chris Lawson (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) with finished 21
st with a time of 27:37.6. The second Saint to cross was
Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS) who finished in 59
th place with a time of 29:50.0.
Josh Trosen (Hackensack, Minn./Nevis HS)'s time of 30:55.4 put him at 119
th overall.
Tim Dunstan (Dollar Bay, Mich./Dollar Bay HS) and
Victor Pilon (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) were the final two Saints to score finishing at 132
nd and 138
th overall.
The University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse took first overall at the Griak Invitational with 43 points sweeping both the men's and women's competitions. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh took second with 46 points despite Jordan Carpenter finishing with the top time of 25:56.2 and Wartburg College finished third with 82 points.
St. Scholastica will travel to Eau Claire, Wisconsin to take part in the Blugold Invitational with the race starting at 5 p.m.
