NORTHFIELD, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team placed 14
th on Saturday at the St. Olaf College Invitational.
Junior
Luke McKenzie (Taylors Falls, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) led the Saints with a time of 27:40.9, placing 53
rd.
Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS) was the second CSS runner to cross the finish line in 88
th with a time of 29:14.6.
Josh Trosen (Hackensack, Minn./Nevis HS) and
Tim Dunstan (Dollar Bay, Mich./Dollar Bay HS) placed 93
rd and 96
th, respectively. Trosen's time was 30:05.6, while Dunstan posted a time of 30:28.6.
Victor Pilon (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) was the final Saint to score with a time of 30:50.3 and placing 100
th.
The Saints finished with 430 points. The University of Sioux Falls won the invitational with 49 points. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was second with 56 points. St. Olaf College was third with 61 points.
The Saints will be at the University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invitational next Saturday. The men's race will take place at 10:40 a.m. at the Les Bolstad Golf Course.
