DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – For the first time since January 14th, the St. Scholastica women's hockey team will be playing a game at Mars Lakeview Arena as it hosts Concordia University (Wis.) on Friday and Marian University (Wis.) for Senior Night on Saturday.
Game Schedule:
Friday vs. Concordia (Wis.) - 4 p.m.
Saturday vs. Marian (Senior Night) - 7 p.m.
-The Saints will be honoring its first official senior class on Saturday against Marian. Seven players remain from Coach MacMillan's first recruiting class.
The Saints are coming off a weekend split after beating Adrian College 1-0 last Friday and then falling to Lake Forest College 4-2 on Saturday.

Monika Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftsschule KV Chur (Swiss National Team)) picked up a goal and an assist in Saturday's game to extend her point total to nine so far this season.
-
Michelle Fischer (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall) also picked up an assist against Lake Forest and her 21 assists so far this season are tied for second in the nation.
-Although the Saints didn't pick up any power play goals last weekend, they are still leading the nation with a power play percentage of .310. However, the CSS penalty-kill ranks 30th out of 50 teams at .822.
-In net,
Lindsey Hartfiel (Big Lake, Minn./Buffalo HS) picked up her second shutout of the year against Adrian and her save percentage of .930 is tied for first in the NCHA.

Concordia University (Wis.) Falcons

-The Falcons have not won since defeating the College of Saint Benedict on January 3rd. Since then their record is 0-8-1 with the lone tie coming against the Saints two weeks ago.
-Concordia is 2-7-0 away from home on the year.
-Freshman forward Veronika Metanova leads the team with 16 points and seven goals. Junior Emily Heckendorf is on her heels with 15 points and six goals. Each lead the team with nine assists.
-Goaltender Jennifer DeGeorge is second in the NCHA with 445 saves this season.
-The Falcons are tied for the worst penalty-kill in the league at only a .725 success rate. However, Concordia commits the fewest penalties in the league at just 7.4 minutes per game.

-The Saints were 1-0-1 two weeks ago in Milwaukee against the Falcons.
-CSS won 3-1 Friday night, but had to rally and score two goals in the third to salvage a 3-3 tie against the Falcons the next day. |

-The Sabres have lost five straight games since defeating the Saints in early January.
-Junior Amanda Waigand leads the team with 16 points and 10 goals. Waigand recorded a natural hat trick in the team's win over the Saints in January.
-Fellow junior Nina Laurie is second on the team with 15 points and has a team-high eight assists.
-In net, junior Amanda Alexander is third in the conference with 405 saves. Sophomore goaltender Ali Glazer is fifth in the league with a .905 save percentage.
