Stats
Record: 0-5, 0-0 UMAC
Upper Midwest Athletic Conference: Standings | Stats

It has been tough sledding for the Saints this season starting with a winless record at 0-5 … The most recent loss for CSS came last Monday when they traveled to Concordia-Moorhead and fell to the Cobbers 65-37 … Mariah Hovick (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) led the Saints in that game with eight points and was third on the team with four rebounds … That marked the worst scoring effort on the part of the Saints only scoring 16 points in the first half and 21 in the second half.

Bright Spot in Brennan: Brittani Brennan (Ashland, Wis./Ashland HS) is the Saints leading scorer this season averaging 9.8 points per game and totaling 49 total points this season … Her highlight so far in this young season was a 21 point performance vs. Gustavus Adolphus College...Brennan's 52.8 field goal percentage currently leads the UMAC.

Seeking First Win: CSS is still in search of their first win this season … This early season is very familiar to last season in which the Saints started 0-4, but rebounded to a 16-10 season with an 11-3 conference record … That season ended with a UMAC semifinal loss to Northwestern.

Playing Disciplined: St. Scholastica has done well at the free throw line this season...The Saints hold the second best team free throw shooting percentage (73.2) in the UMAC while averaging 10.4 free throw attempts per game.

Series History: CSS is currently 23-9 all-time vs. Finlandia including a current five game winning streak dating back to 2011

Finlandia:
Finlandia is currently 4-5 on the season and have won two games in a row … In their last match vs. Northland College, the Lions defeated Northland 67-39 at home … In that game Marissa Burke scored 23 points off of the bench and Julia Daavettila recorded a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds … Burke is leading Finlandia in scoring with 163 total points in just nine games this season, which is good for an 18.11 average points per game … The next leading scorer for the Lions is Brierra Ruska-Pasanen who has 68 points per game
