DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – For the first time this season, the St. Scholastica football team will play back-to-back road games as it travels to New Ulm, Minnesota Saturday to face Martin Luther College.

The Saints had their biggest scoring output of the season last Saturday at MacMurray College, defeating the Highlanders 55-7 in Jacksonville, Illinois … CSS scored points on seven straight possessions at one point.
 
Road Warriors: CSS has won 17 straight conference road games, dating back to the 2010 season … The last conference road loss came to Martin Luther on Sept. 25, 2010 (21-7). 
 
UMAC Success: The Saints have won 17 straight UMAC games; a streak dating back to October 20, 2012 … CSS has lost only one UMAC game in the last three seasons … That 2012 loss came against Northwestern at Ordean Stadium.
 
Thru the Uprights: In last Saturday's win at MacMurray, CSS senior kicker Mike Theismann (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Apollo HS) was 2-for-3 on field goal attempts, including matching his career-long and program record distance of 44 yards.
 
Don't Kick it to Him: Kenneth Jinkins (Eagan, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) had the longest kick return in program history on Saturday, with a 92-yard return for a touchdown … It was the second kick return in program history … Jinkins has four of the 10 longest kick returns in CSS history in just the last two weeks.
 
Red Zone Streak Ends: St. Scholastica saw its string of converting red zone opportunities come to an end on Saturday at 21 as CSS had a field goal blocked in the first quarter.
 
Check the Odometer: The total round trip mileage of CSS's first three road games this season was 3,498 miles … You can drive from Rockford, Ill. and Anchorage, Alaska in that distance.
 
Harper Milestones: Quarterback Tyler Harper (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) matched a career-high with four TD passes on Saturday … He is 67 yards shy from hitting 5,000 yards passing for his career.
 
Cedarleaf on the Edge: Senior defensive end Blake Cedarleaf (Mahtomedi, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) tied Christopher Doran's program record of 13.5 sacks in a career last week at MacMurray.
 
Series History: The Saints are 4-3 all-time against the Knights … Martin Luther is the only conference team CSS has a sub-.500 record against … The Knights won the first four in the series, while CSS has won the last three … The only Saints win in New Ulm came in 2012 by a 21-7 score.

Since winning its season opener at Maranatha Baptist (Wis.), the Knights have dropped five straight conference games … MLC relies heavily on the running game as it ranks last in the league averaging only 57.2 passing yards per game … The Knights lead the conference with 343 rushing attempts and are averaging 272.3 yards on the ground per game … The offense took a hit when starting quarterback Luke Rothe went down with an injury against Northwestern and has missed the last three games … Running back matt Olson also missed last game due to injury.
 
Head Coach Doug Lange: Doug Lange is entering his 10th season as the head coach of the football program at MLC in 2014, and is also the head coach of the men's and women's track and field programs … Since taking over the football program in 2005, Lange holds a record of 43-44 … He was named UMAC Coach of the Year in football in 2009 after leading the Knights to a UMAC North championship with a record of 7-3.
