-The Saints earned their first victory of the season with a convincing 47-10 victory over new Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) member Iowa Wesleyan.

Cory Gebhard (St. Croix Falls, Wis./St. Croix Falls HS).
-Gebhard leads the UMAC in receiving touchdowns with four on the year.
-The Saints set a program record for total rushing yards in a game with 427 total yards against IWC.
-CSS is currently tied for first in D-III in red zone efficiency going 8-for-8 on the year.

Jake Jensen (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) sits just 87 yards from eclipsing 2,000 career yards and is 130 yards away from setting a program record currently held by
Chris Henagin (2043 yards).

Mike Theismann (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Apollo HS) was 2-for-2 last week against Iowa Wesleyan, making field goals from 42 and 32 yards. Theismann is now 10-for-10 in his career from 30 yards or further.
-The Saints have outscored opponents 14-0 in the third quarter.
-The CSS defense leads the conference and is in the top 40 in the nation, allowing just 77.5 rushing yards per game.

-QB Wes Safford is 40-for-73 on the year with 507 total yards and two touchdowns.
-RB Amos Schmidt anchors a backfield averaging 68 yards per game.
-Terrell Thomas and Ben Olson solidify a receiving corps averaging 253.5 yards per game.
