Box Score RIVER FALLS, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's hockey team saw its season come to an end on Friday with a 2-1 loss to ninth-ranked St. Norbert College in the NCHA O'Brien Cup Semifinals, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
The Green Knights struck first midway through the opening period on a power-play goal by Katie Conlon. That would be the lone goal of the period as the Saints outshot St. Norbert 10-7.
CSS knotted the game with just over seven minutes remaining in the second period when
Gina Dodge (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minn.-Duluth)) found the back of the net.
Michelle Fischer (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall) and
Nina Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftschule KV Chur (ZSC Lions/Swiss U18 National)) had the assists.
The Green Knights (17-9-2) regained the lead with 3:18 left in the period on an Ali Parker goal to make it 2-1 at the second intermission. The Saints had the advantage in shots again in the period at 12-7.
The third period saw St. Norbert with an 11-7 shot advantage and the Green Knights hold the lead as the Saints fell by a final of 2-1. For St. Norbert, it is its eighth straight victory.

Teraysa White (Belgrade, Maine/Brewster Academy (New England College)) had 23 saves in the defeat. Kaley Gibson had 28 saves in the win for St. Norbert.
The Saints (14-10-4) will say goodbye to seniors Dodge and White, while the Green Knights move on to face either UW-River Falls or UW-Stevens Point in the O'Brien Cup Championship tomorrow.
