Men's Cross Country Competes at Blugold Invite

COLFAX, Wis. (csssaints.com) – Members of the St. Scholastica men's cross country team competed at the Blugold Invitational on Friday, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

With most of the top performers competing tomorrow in Indiana, the Saints placed 25th as a team with 775 points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 54 points. St. Olaf College was second with 80 points.

CSS was led by Tim Dunstan (Dollar Bay, Mich./Dollar Bay HS), who finished in a time of 28:46 for 142nd. Ryan Soule (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) was 10 spots behind Dunstan with a time of 29:01. John Donlan (Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) was the next Saint to finish in 156th with a time of 29:20.

Josh Trosen (Hackensack, Minn./Nevis HS) was 12 seconds behind Donlan in 162nd and the final CSS runner to score was Adam Wallenta (Eagan, Minn./Farmington HS), a spot behind Trosen, in 163rd with a time of 29:35.

The rest of the Saints will compete tomorrow in Hanover, Indiana in the Pre-Nationals Meet. The men's race is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. (ET).
