NORTHFIELD, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team finished 10th out of 21 teams on Saturday at the St. Olaf Invitational.
The Saints accumulated 291 points, while Division II's Minnesota State won the meet with 30 points. St. Olaf College was second with 83 points and the University of Minnesota-Duluth was third with 109 points.
Freshman
Chris Lawson (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) led the Saints, finishing 37th overall with a time of 27:23.
Charlie Habermann (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS) was three places back in 40th with a time of 27:29.
Ethan Schubert (Two Harbors, Minn./Home School) was the next CSS runner to cross the finish line in 56th place with a time of 27:59.
Ben Carlson (Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS (Saint Mary’s)) was 56th posting a time of 28:26. The final CSS runner to score was
Sam Toso (Falcon Heights, Minn./Roseville HS) in 93rd with a time of 29:47.
The Saints will be at the Blugold Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, in Colfax, Wis. next Friday. The men's race is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
