Last Action:
The Saints earned a weekend split with the St. Norbert College Green Knights in Duluth last week.  The Green Knights snuck out with a 2-1 victory Saturday night and the Saints took Sunday's game 5-3 with the help of three goals in the first three and a half minutes of the game.

St. Scholastica Saints (11-5-3, 9-4-1 NCHA)
The Saints are just in their second year as a program, but you wouldn't know it from the performance they have had on the ice this season … After a sub-.500 season last year the Saints began this season with a 8-2-1 record and continue to have success sitting in fourth in the conference … Nina Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftschule KV Chur (ZSC Lions/Swiss U18 National)) continues her outstanding freshman season leading the team and conference with 26 points on 14 goals and 12 assists … Her sister Monika Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftsschule KV Chur (Swiss National Team)) isn't far behind with 22 points on eight goals and 14 assists… Captain Michelle Fischer (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall) is the third Saint with over 20 points with 21 on seven goals and 14 assists… CSS has one other player in double figures in Jordy Klimek (Hastings, Minn./Hastings HS) who has 15 points on seven goals and eight assists … Shannon Connolly (Toronto, Ontario/Havergal College) and Sheridan Friesen (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Ontario Hockey Academy) have found much success splitting time in goal for the Saints … Connolly has a 6-2-2 record while Friesen has a 5-3-1 record.

Lake Forest Foresters (11-6-1, 10-4-0 NCHA)
The Foresters were off last weekend and that allowed UW-Superior to move into second place, but the Foresters still sit in third just one point ahead of CSS … After starting the season hot, the Foresters have gone just 5-4-0 in the last nine games … Kim Herring leads the Foresters this season with 20 points on a team-best 13 goals and seven assists … Stephanie Slinde is the next closest with 14 points on four goals and 10 assists … The offensive production has been good for LFC this year as they have five more players in double figures scoring as well … Jenna Brankin and Stacey Dierking have split time in goal for LFC this season posting almost identical records at 6-3-0 and 5-3-1, respectively … Brankin has a conference best .946 save percentage and is third in the NCHA allowing only 1.56 goals per game.

Last Meeting: (CSS All-Time Record vs. Lake Forest: 0-1-1)
The Saints and Foresters met last season in Duluth where Lake Forest shut out CSS in game one 3-0.  The Saints were able to get on the board in game two and record their first tie and first NCHA point in program history tying the Foresters 1-1.  Fischer recorded the Saints only goal on assists from Cara McMannis (Holland, Manitoba/Treherne Collegiate Institute (Pembina Valley Hawks)) and Michelle Rebeck (St. Andrews, Manitoba/Balmoral Hall).
