Last Action: The Saints were in Mequon, Wis. last week to take on the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons.  CSS left with three points tying the Falcons 2-2 on Friday night and winning 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.  Nina Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftschule KV Chur (ZSC Lions/Swiss U18 National)) recorded five total points on the weekend on three goals and two assists.

St. Scholastica Saints (12-6-5, 10-5-3 NCHA)
The Saints control their own fate when it comes to home ice in the O'Brien Cup Playoffs… With two wins the Saints guarantee home ice in the first round and at least the third seed… CSS still has a chance to capture the two seed with a weekend sweep of UW-Superior and one point or less this weekend from Lake Forest… N. Waidacher continues her stellar freshman season leading the team and the conference with 32 total points with a team best 17 goals along with 15 assists… Monika Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftsschule KV Chur (Swiss National Team)) is in second with 25 points on nine goals and 16 assists and Captain Michelle Fischer (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall) is right behind her with 23 points on seven goals and 16 assists… Rachel Borchardt (Willow River, Minn./Willow River HS ) has now been the goaltender on record for the last four games recording a 1-1-2 record making 115 saves and she has an outstanding .958 save percentage… Sheridan Friesen (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Ontario Hockey Academy) and Shannon Connolly (Toronto, Ontario/Havergal College) have each started 10 games this season with 5-3-1 and 6-2-2 records respectively.

#10 UW-Superior Yellowjackets (14-6-3, 12-4-2 NCHA)
The year started off a little shaky for the 'Jackets with a loss to Hamline and a tie and loss to conference foe Adrian but an overtime victory over the conference leading UW-River Falls Falcons on the road seemed to spark something for UW-S… Following the series with the Falcons the Yellowjackets won three of their next four and has now won seven of their last nine games to reach second in the conference… Kerry Mayhew leads the team this year with 27 points on eight goals and a team best 19 assists while right behind her is Dani Schultz with 26 points on a team best 19 goals and seven assists… UW-Superior has two other players with 20+ points in Kaiti Graham with 21 and Kelsey Firkus with 20… Shanley Peters and Amy Torgerson have split time in goal this year and Peters has a 7-3-2 record while Torgerson is 7-3-1…The two goaltenders have combined for a .928 save percentage this season.
