PREVIEW: Women’s Hockey to Host Hamline in Non-Conference Contest Tuesday Night

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's hockey team will face Hamline University Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in a non-conference contest at Mars Lakeview Arena.

Record: 2-1-1, 2-1-1 NCHA

  • For the second straight week, the Saints bounced back from a non-win on Friday night to dominate their opponent on Saturday, defeating St. Norbert College 6-1 after falling to the Green Knights 4-2 on Friday.
  • CSS is second in the nation in power-play percentage, having converted 38 percent of its opportunities.
  • The Saints are third in the NCAA Division III, averaging five goals per game.
  • Freshman Nikki Logergren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Northern Stars)) is tied for the nation's lead in power-play goals per game (0.75).
