NORTHFIELD, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team was 20th out of 27 teams with 532 points at the NCAA Division III Central Region championships, hosted by St. Olaf College on Saturday.
Chris Lawson (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village) led the Saints, finishing 51st overall with a time of 26:54.
Charlie Habermann (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS) was the next Saint to cross the finishing line, 70th overall with a time of 27:19.
Ethan Schubert (Two Harbors, Minn./Home School) was 112th overall with a time of 28:22 and
Ben Carlson (Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS (Saint Mary’s)) was 149th, posting a time of 29:31. The final Saint to score was
Ryan Soule (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) 150th overall with a time of 29:39.
The host, St. Olaf, won the meet with a total of 70 points. Central College (Iowa) was second with 75 points. Both of those teams advance to next week's NCAA Division III Championship in Terre Haute, Ind.
