CSS 2-Deep vs. Greenville
DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica football team will head to Greenville, Ill. on Saturday and face two-time defending Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) champion and preseason favorite Greenville College in the conference opener. Since falling to the Panthers last October, the Saints have won five straight games, which is the second-longest win streak in the state of Minnesota (Minn.-Duluth=17 games). The Saints were picked to finish second, behind Greenville, in the UMAC preseason coaches' poll in this the first year that the conference champion gets an automatic bid in the NCAA playoffs. The kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Francis Field.
